This software saved my day! By accident, I deleted a file from a dictaphone and UndeleteMyFiles managed to restore it without any trouble at all. An extremly useful and user friendly software that I strongly recommend to everyone.

Not able to use it

I was not able to get this product to run successfully on my Windows XP Pro machine. I am a fairly advance XP user who works for an IT Department, so am not sure why it would not run. I may try this again in a few weeks to see if it will run better on a different machine.

Simple, effective and works

This is exactly what everyone needs. No fuss, the pirice is perfect and works intuitively. This is the first software that easily undeleted dictation files from an Olympus digital voice recorder.

Best program ever... I've been looking for this since I forgot to create a back-up before reïnstalling Vista on my PC and this got all my files back in perfect condition ;)

Worth a try, anyway

This software has a very nice interface. It could add an option to find previously deleted files and overwrite the contents on the disk so that they are permanently gone and unrecoverable using a utility such as it is. That said, I did test the file recover function (which is what this software is adequately enough meant to do) and I find that for each file that was supposedly recovered, the contents were unreadable as clusters had previously been overwritten by other new content being written to the hard disk. Some other utilities I've used in the past (in the days of DOS in fact)

Pretty good program

I thought this was a very easy program to use. It did exactly what I wanted. Not only did it let me find the files I had deleted, it also let me retrieve them, which is something the free trial software I tryed lacks. Several of the files I retrieved were jpegs, and some of those would not open. They gave a message that a preview was not available. They show up on my flash drive, and when I click properties, it indicates the file size as if it is there taking up space, but no image. I'm assuming this is because the files were corrupted in the interum since they were deleted, as this happened with one of the trial software I tryed also. Overall, I liked the program.
